Biography of Mike Pilon

With iPlayHockey’s new look drill vault COMING SOON, we thought we’d give you a background on the man behind the drills!

Mike Pilon is iPlayHockey’s official coach and helps direct the iPlayHockey drill hub. Mike comes with an abundance of hockey industry experience. He is the President of Endeavor Sports Group, which is a player development, mentoring, and advising program for hockey players & coaches. Aside from his playing experience, he received an honors degree in Physical Education from Brock University. He has also attained his Master Level Coach certification from USA Hockey. He has multiple coaching symposium experience, along with participating in a number of high profile media events such as the first season of CBC’s “Making the Cut”, Powerade and Nike’s “Powerdome Camp”, APTN’s hit television series “Hit The Ice”, and the Ottawa Senators “Tim Horton’s Coaches Clinic”.

Mike is currently the Director of Coach & Player Development for the Gloucester Rangers Minor Hockey Club. His coaching experience includes 10 years of Junior A hockey; acting as a Regional Scout for the USNDTP; Coaching Coordinator (Wyoming) for USA Hockey; as well as USport hockey with the University of Ottawa Gee Gees. Mike’s consultation experience has also seen him work with several NCAA programs, as well as numerous Professional Clubs in Europe.
