Support Your Child’s Dreams!

Support your child’s dreams in hockey. Always.

Growing up in Canada, every young child playing hockey’s dream is the same. To someday play in the National Hockey League (NHL).

They sit on the couch on a Saturday night tuned into Hockey Night in Canada, watching Sidney Crosby or Connor McDavid shock the world, hoping to learn a thing or two from the way they play to bring to their own games.

Who wouldn’t want to play in the NHL?

The problem is, there’s some parents out there who are quick to point out to their kids that they’re never going to make it to the NHL. That there’s too many kids out there playing, that there’s too much competition, it costs too much money, or crazily enough, that they simply aren’t good enough.

Don’t be one of those parents. Support your child’s dreams and allow them to reach for the stars.

It’s always going to be better for them to find out on their own that they might not make the NHL after all, rather than to hear it from their own parents, which is just going to give them the same mentality when they approach other endeavours later in life.

And if they don’t make it, hey at least they tried it, and gave something their all. There’s plenty of value in that.
