Contest iPlayHockey: Terms and Conditions
Official Rules:
1. Sponsor
This contest is administered by iPlayHockey referred to as the “Sponsor.”
2. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Québec, aged 13+ years old at time of entry.
Entrants under the age of majority in their province or territory of residence must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Employees of the Sponsor, its affiliates, agencies and immediate family members are not eligible. Entrants must also comply with TikTok or Instagram’s terms of use as applicable to the Entrant to be considered eligible.
3. Contest Period
Begins on September 29, 2026, and closes on October 11, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
(“Contest Period”).
4. How to Enter
No purchase is necessary to enter. During the Contest Period, Entrants may enter by following all of the steps listed below:
- Follow our official TikTok or Instagram account @iplayhockey.ca
- Like the official giveaway post on either TikTok or Instagram
- Comment your picks for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in NHL regular-season points
- Limit of one (1) entry per person is allowed. Multiple, bulk, automated, or false entries are prohibited and will be void.
- Submit their entry before the stated deadline.
5. Prizes
There is a total of one (1) prize consisting of one (1) pair of hockey skates, with an approximate retail value of $1,200 CAD, including applicable taxes.
The winner will have the opportunity to select the brand and model of skates they wish to receive, up to the maximum value stated above.
No cash alternatives. Prizes are non-transferable. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Prizes must be accepted as awarded; no cash or substitution will be offered except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize delivery will not be unduly delayed.
6. Winner Selection
Predictions are locked once submitted and cannot be changed. Participants must identify three different players and indicate their predicted 1st, 2nd and 3rd-place finishers.
Following the conclusion of the NHL regular season, all eligible participants who correctly predict all three players who finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in NHL regular-season points, in the correct order, will be entered into a random draw for the chance to win a pair of hockey skates worth up to $1,200 CAD, taxes included.
For purposes of this Contest, NHL regular-season points means the total number of points (goals plus assists) recorded by a player during the 2026–27 NHL regular season.
If no participant correctly predicts all three Top-3 players in the correct order, the eligibility pool will move to participants who correctly predicted two of the three Top-3 players.
If no participant correctly predicts two of the three Top-3 players, the eligibility pool will then move to participants who correctly predicted one of the three Top-3 players.
For the fallback pool, participants must have correctly identified two of the three players in their correct finishing positions. The Sponsor will then conduct a random draw from the applicable pool of eligible entries.
In the event of a tie in regular-season points, the official NHL final statistics and ranking/tiebreaking procedures will be used to determine the applicable finishing positions.
The final Top 3 standings will be determined based on the conclusion of the NHL regular season on or about April 10, 2027. The prize will be awarded to the confirmed winner following verification of eligibility.
The selected entrant will be contacted via direct message on the platform that was used to enter on or about April 11, 2027, and must respond within seven (7) days from the date of contact. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required time, or is otherwise ineligible, an alternate entrant will be selected at random from the applicable pool of eligible entries.
Only entries that meet all stated requirements and correctly identify the applicable NHL regular-season Top-3 points leaders, as determined by the Sponsor based on the official final NHL regular-season standings, will be considered for selection.
7. Skill-Testing Question
Before being declared a winner, a selected entrant must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question, unaided, and within a limited time (E.g.2 + 4 × 3 – 5 = ?) to be declared a winner and claim their prize.
8. License & Publicity
By entering, you grant the Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and publish your submission in connection with this contest, including promotional materials. You may opt out of promotional use at the time of submission. Selected entrant (or their parent/legal guardian, if a minor) must sign a Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. Except where prohibited, winners consent to the publication of
their name, city/province and image for advertising/publicity by Sponsor, without further compensation.
9. Platform Disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, TikTok or Meta. By entering, you completely release Instagram and TikTok from any liability arising in connection with this promotion.
10. Privacy
Personal information collected will be used solely to administer this contest, verifying eligibility and awarding prizes, all in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy available at https://iplayhockey.ca/privacy-policy/. Where we describe what we collect, how long we retain it, where it is stored, and with whom it is shared.

11. Limitation of Liability
Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures, submission errors or unauthorized third-party intervention. Entrants release the Sponsor from all liability in connection with the contest. Sponsor may cancel, modify or suspend the Contest if fraud or technical failures compromise its integrity, subject to applicable law.
12. Governing Law
This Contest is governed by the laws of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario, sitting in Ottawa.
13. Quebec
This Contest is not open to residents of the province of Québec and is therefore Void in Quebec. Entries submitted by Québec residents will be deemed ineligible and will not be considered. Document comparison by Workshare Compare on August 22, 2025 3:22:53 PM
