In order for the game of hockey to make a successful and safe return at the minor hockey level, it’s going to take a full team effort.

That means that everyone involved – parents, coaches, referees, players, facility employees, and league organizers – all have to be on board with the rules, guidelines, and protocol put in place.

As the old saying goes, “You’re only as good as your weakest link”, so if anyone on the team isn’t following the rules, they’re putting the entire team in danger.

The changes will be an adjustment at first, but if we all do our part, we can be back in the rink in no time enjoying the game we love, as though nothing ever changed.

And we think that makes the changes worthwhile.
