Some new and new-ish faces are on this version.  3 of them suited up in the form of Landis, Ross, and ex-summer 2015 player Adam Nelebowich.

 

From puck drop the Gators started chomping.  An epic div D1A battle of Orange vs Green.  Strangely enough we weren't the first to score.  Chain Gang was first on the board at the 2min mark... on their first shot... slow clap to Lowrey

 

Gators regrouped to take the period 3-1

 

Much of the same in the second as it ended 9-1

 

Final score was 13-2 Gators.  Shots were 51-15.  Lowrey gets the first W of the season.  Poor Orange guys, shortbench and all.  Hopefully next time they have a full squad.

 

Rookie Ross "Toothwork" Grant made his Gator debut with a hat trick and goes home with Gary and #GatorOfTheGame accolades

Spenny was -2, and also -2 for sticks.  Somebody wanna tell him breaking sticks is Fettings job

 

Free samples of Head&Shoulders shampoo was given out after the game.  Shaw spoiler alerted us to the $1.50 mail-in rebate.  That Spenny, what a guy!

 

Landis during the game probably may have caused the refs to poop their pants a few times with some strong dump-ins.

 

Overton wore a silk t-shirt.  Or something silk-like.  Michaels was impressed

 

Morello, according to highly unreliable sources that may or may not be made up, is in process of transferring from UVic to UofA after seeing Dev's 5pt performance.  He was quote saying "Not on my watch".
