Firstly, just gotta say.  Ba-Donk-A-Donk

Now that that is out of the way,  we played a game friday night!!!  Yay for us!

I was looking for a video clip of Chiarelli from last year commenting that we were outscoring our problems.  It was a challenging night for the goaltenders this friday.  The sea was angry this friday evening fans.  Yet the Gators somehow swam to a 8-7 shootout win over the Clams... who cant swim 'cause they're clams (Pssst, clams cant swim right?)

First period saw some back and forth play, and a 3-3 tie.  Goals provided by Travis, Brady and Ross.

Similar crazyness came in the second with the Gators rolling off 3 straight goals (Spencer with one, Eric with 2) followed by the Clams countering with 4 straight of their own (should have been 5 kinda... hence the game title).  Lowrey was quoted as "Hell if I know.  I didnt hear it hit anything in the back of the net"  Refs were confused, yadda yadda yadda the next thing you know there's a faceoff in our zone.  I guess Toronto wasnt taking any video review requests from the RCHL friday night

Third period saw the red light cease except for Brady finding the twine to tie it up at 7's at around the 3min mark.  Gator pressure was apparent but the Clams goalie was in prevent mode and the game went to a shootout.

McRae used his raw sexuality to score on the first shot.  Clams countered with a 5-hole deke to continue the shootout.  Then the walls went up.  2 more shooters on each side missed or got stopped.  The refs had to check to see if the shootout had to continue.  Shockingly thats how sudden death works... someone has to win.  On the Gators 8th shoot,  Brock gliding in and fired low to finish this thing off.  Lowrey put a pad on the Clams last shot and the Gators went to the room with another W

#GatorOfTheGame goes to the Refs who had no idea if the Clams original 7th goal really actually went in.  Honorable mention to the butt
