Turrible
So Hudson is alive. There’s a plus.
Ever had one of those nights where nothing seems to go right? We did.
The Monday Nov 27 version of Gator Hockey saw a real case of the Mundays (ala Office Space) vs the “Fatboys”.
Did we mention vs a short-benched “Fatboys” team? 7 skaters. Yuck. The league guy that handed out post game Tap25 coupons pointed that out also.
What should we have done? Feast on Fatboy. What did we do? Threw up a good old stinker of a game. Got tagged for 8 goals. Poor Lowrey. First shot went under his arm and that was the kind of night he was gonna have.
First period saw Gators goals by Brock and Travis… and 4 by the Fatboys
Second period was marginally better with Travis finding his second of the game… and the Fatboys scoring 2 more times.
Third period saw the Fatboys put us out of our misery with 2 more tallies and a 8-3 final. Yuck.
Poor Gary all cold and lonely in Overton’s shop gets #GatorOfTheGame for not having to witness that steaming pile ‘o’ crap.
Other Gator News:
'Turrible' is a phrase coined by Sir Charles Barkley. His nickname is 'Round Mound of Rebound'
Perry, who came out for a game and brought beers has no nickname, and is neither round or a mound. In fact he's tall and skinny. Great hair though.
We went penalty free this game, so Yay! Nacho’s!!!
How about that Shania Twain. Yowza! Did you know she’s 52!
Hudson, along with the Van Thuyne boys missed last game due to “upper body drinking” and “attempted Dabbing”
Dabbing, or the dab, is a simple dance move in which a person drops the head into the bent crook of a slanted arm, often while raising the opposite arm in a parallel direction but out straight. Since 2015, it has also been used as a gesture of triumph or playfulness, becoming a youthful American cultural sensation and internet meme. The move looks similar to someone sneezing into the inside of the elbow
“It was a strategic loss… just kidding, I couldn’t stop a beachball” Lowrey repeated answered reporters
Win streak ends at 6
Spenny was -8 on the night, but is -319 in our hearts
