I'm not mad... just disappointed.

So we had a Sunday night / REALLY EARLY Monday morning tilt vs the Caramel Rebel... Carvel... oh, CALMAR.  We played the Calmar Rebels.  A fitting team name since the town itself was named after the Sweedish home of its first postmaster.  And everybody knows how rebellious the swedes are... oh those swedes.

Back to the disappointment.

A) We had 8 skaters, which means a lot of dudes didnt make it. A lot of dudes that don't have kids henceforth not a legitimate man excuse other than needing a beauty rest.  Then again, it is 2018 afterall and maybe those guys identify as pagent contestants that need to have their moisturizing gloves on by no later than 9pm in order to get proper exfoliation.

2) There is no f'n B

C) We lost 5-2

8 skaters was an issue, although the Rebels iced 8 as well so can't really use that as a crutch.  We did take the final 2 periods but being down 4-0 after the first usually does not yield a favorable result.

Upside on the night was a gritty and determined game by new Gator Gordon Aylward who got his first taste of the glory that encompasses #GatorOfTheGame with a 2 goal performance and mastery of the defensive zone faceoff circle.

Michaels and Spenny both showed up, and they had to take off for some boat training stuff at 6am the next day.

Hutch seems to love late games, he may have been a vampire in a past life.  Come to think of it I've never seen his reflection in a mirror... I'm just gonna eat this clove of garlic.

We may have dodged an emergency re-tiering with the loss (there was an email from the league guy this morning about that actually)

Eric may be on the IR with vag-a-tie-tis on account of pussying out on playing a late game.  I'll narrow in on PerBear next time
