Welcome to primo Sunday night hockey!

The Gators third game of the season pitted them against one of the RCHL's storied teams, the Chiefs.  I know that because Culby said they've been playing together forever, and Culby's old, so he'd know. 

Upside of a 6pm game is that we had a good showup, bad side is of the good numbers 2 were actually defense, and that generously saying that Spenny plays defense... ok, so the lone d-man of a 13 player team was Brock.  File ‘recruiting defensmen’ as a goal for next summer.

Abbreviated version of the gamesummary was that the final score was 11-9 for the green and gold.  Who needs defense when you can shoot the lights out right?!

Buckley, fresh off a fantasy draft selection of Connor McDavid proceeded to own the scoresheet topped of with a beauty no-look pass to Gord.  That alone was #GatorOfTheGameworthy

Lowrey stopped slightly more shots than the Chiefs goalie and grabbed the W

The Chiefs were selling chickens after the game, so if you need a xhicken, we know a guy, or two, possibly more

The amount of beers drank at the Cossack  on saturday night’s fantasy hockey draft (note game was sunday) was somewhere between 501 and 526) judging by how McRae looked as he camein the dressing room.
