Game 5 of the Gators 18/19 quest pitted the Gators against the "Mighty B's"

What is a Mighty B you ask?  Well, I'll walk you through it:

a Mighty B is a washed up ECHL'er (god bless Hockey DB) who is long past his prime, especially in the art of chirping.  We're talking about a player on their team, and for the sake of anonymity lets call him A.Chorneyko... oh wait, that too obvious, make that Adam C

Now that we've covered that.  Lets get to the game...

We won!

Lowrey had a kids concert (Fred Penner) that his wife reminded him he was going to Saturday night so Clay Hayes strapped on the Green and Gold and parked in the net for this one.

The boys were thankful, and skated to a gritty, hungry 7-1 win, making the B's a fair amount less mighty in the process, they were more chippy than anything.  Speaking of which, I'm kinda happy that shades of circa 2016 Brad Filewich showed up for the game.  1st period scuffle saw the Brad of old get a little gritty and there may or may not have been a couple of penalites that may or may not have included a 10min misconduct.

1st period ended with the Gators up 2-0 on goals from Fetting and... ugh, do I really have to mention him... Fine.  Spencer Shaw.  Spencer Shaw scored, you happy now?  I hope you know we're never gonna here the end of it.

Second period cooled down and the Gators extended their lead by another 3 goals (Michaels, Filewich, McRae) to close out the second up 5-0.

Third period saw the ice tilt in favor of the Gators still, and saw McRae and Michaels pop for another bingo each.  Then someone (probably Spencer) mentioned the word shutout, and with 18 seconds left in the game the Mighty B's scored.  Thanks
