Friday's game saw the Gators (3-2) take on the Enoch RoadRunners (3-1-1).
Not gonna go too heavy into the game on account of we lost in a shootout and I hate writing about losses so I'll go into the pregame conversation, without naming names...
It all kinda started when Brady came in the dressing room, complete with his thumb cast. Not particularly painful looking but amongst the many surgery related questions it did warrant the question "That's not your jerk hand is it?"
And it went south fast.
Some guys mix up hand usage
Some guys have a strict go-to side, mainly based on a fear of pulling too far in one direction and causing some kind of bend.
Could a bend be corrected the same way you correct bends in metal? How would you heat it to encourage a bend? Would sticking it in a door help to hold it firm enough to get a reverse bend? A vice maybe? Is that overboard?
Any way you slice up the conversation I think the new guys now have a solid foundation of what Gator Hockey is all about... just dont know if thats a good thing or not. Time will tell.
That being said new guy Gord wasnt phased ad he went on to notch his 9th and 10th of the season and got to take home #GatorOfTheGame again
Lowrey stopped 31 in the loss
