Solid 2 period effort 2018-11-07

As the season progresses its getting easier and easier to spot the ringers of teams.  This monday primetime game saw the Gators (5-2-2) face off against the division leading Rebels (7-2).

Gators were a little shy on the numbers this monday as 11 guys were confirmed by game time.  Michaels made his way back to the roster after the BeerGate fiasco.  He recently got engaged to an absolute smokeshow so he's back in the good books, at least for now.

First period saw the Gators skating, and generally playing some good puck with Overton, McRae, and Filewich adding some bingos before the end of the period.  Second saw the ice tilted to the same end as the Rebels ringer Troy Seeney popped a couple goals to bring the Rebels to within a goal by periods end.

Third the play opened up some more, but the boys got a little tired.  Brads ridiculously awesome Movember stache greased a second goal in, and Seeney countered for the Rebels with his inevitable ringer hat trick.  Dev ruined nachos shortly after and the Rebels tied it up on the PP.  Dev apologized by putting the Gators back up by a goal shortly afterwards.  The tired legs caught up and the Rebels tied the game with around 2min left and we were off to a shootout.

Player of the month Tremblay's mid-cheese shot went wide, ringer got his 4th and the Rebels won.  Nuts.  Is Morello done learning how to be a lawyer yet?

Nebs on behalf of old man McRae awarded the gritty determined play of Overton with #GatorOfTheGame
