Keep Calm and Forfeit 2018-11-20

So by around 3pm we have 2 skaters and a goalie confirmed.  Pin pulled on that forfeit.  Who needs $150 anyways right... So here's my vision of how the game WOULD have gone... insert Wayne's World 'doodle-oodle-oop' dream sequence intro.

Tonights late game saw the Gators take on the Mighty B's... interesting name, are they boston fans? are they fans of the Mighty Might Bosstones?  do they think the Bees are cool?  Who cares.

As the zamboni gate closed the Gator squad too to the ice for a magestic warmup.  Fluid skating and bright yet determined smile abounded.  Many a Movember moustaches blew in the frigid air of the River Cree Twin Rinks.  Lowrey place the net on its pegs and after some quick stretches he proceeded to stone each warmup shot.  The game start buzzer sounded and the skater promptly collected the warmup pucks and took their positions for this epic 11pm battle.  The puck dropped and the game was on.

Gord fought relentlesly for puck possesion,

Buckley's speed dominated and confunded the oppostion,

Culbertson was old and grumpy,

Dev broke some ankles with his slick stickhandling,

Patty Kane's agent visited just to check out Brock's flow,

Scrads should do porn on account of the moustache... and other obvious reason,

Gilly dominated in a way that only a Dad-Bod can,

Hutch did hutch things,

Mitch and Perry put on a dangling drop-passing show,

Eric continued his amazing streak by not getting hurt,

Michaels zipped down the wing as usual,

At least 3 guys from the other team grabbed Nebs' ass,

Overton powered out of the faceoff circle, causing turnovers all over the place,

Landis played an amazing game for only having 12 beer, and

Lowrey was a brick wall in the Gator end... except for 1 goal which was entirely "Mister Minus" Spenny's fault...

We lost 1-0 in a 11pm game forfeit... but that wasnt nearly as vivid of an experience now was it?
