Another Gator Hockey game in the books, another similar-ish result.

The Dec 16th version of Gator hockey was a well attended and shots were a plenty.

Santa @garygatorrchl was giving out bingos to everyone tonight hockey fans, well maybe not Spenny... Gary hates spenny and his magical boat selling skills.

A very full roster sans the veterans Culby and Lowrey took to the ice.  The first period saw the much younger squad of gators place 16 shots on the Brownstars net, 2 tickling the twine via Scrads and rookie Gator Kyle Buckley.  The brownstar notched off 15 of their own but Hayes turned away 14 of them.

Quick intermission and a splash of water later the second started the same way the first left off.  Gators struck for 3 more via PerPer, Michaels and Buckley.  hayes stopped 12 of 13 and the gators were comping away at a 5-2 lead after the second

Then the bottom fell out.  The Brownstars reeled off 3 goals in a mater of 70 seconds and we were suddenly tied up.  yuck.  Couple minutes later in a 30 sec span the gators rolled off 2 of their own to get the lead back via bingos from Scrads and Landis.  Some guy named dusty cockring from the brownstars narrowed it to 1, only to have Buckley complete his hat trick and get the 2 goal cushion back.  Cockring took exemption to the announce saying cockring and got his third of the game.  With a little over a minute left in regulation the brownstars pulled their guy that stood in the net and the gators quickly put something there is his place... the last bingo.

Culby and Lowrey are old and have family stuff... and you eventually will toooooooooo.  PSA: dont have kids, they ruin your beerleague hockey attendance.
