So the Blackstars won 6-1

... Sigh

A short Gator bench, borrowing a couple of Buds Hockey players from an earlier game took to the ice Saturday afternoon against a long-time aggrivating opponent Blackstars.

This one didnt go the way we would have liked.  How's that saying go... fail to plan, plan to lose 6-1?  Grrrr

First period saw the Blackstar tap 3 goals in, first coming early.  Tips, and screens, and breakaways 'Oh My!'

Gross

Second period saw the Blackstars throw another 13 shots at the Gators net.  1 found its way in sand the Blackstars finished the period up 4-0

Third didn't get any better, but at least the Green and Gold ended the Blackstar goalies shutout bid around 8min in.  Overton found the netting on a nice feed from Mitch and Clay.

Meh.

Next up: Bulldogs

Gary Gator was last seen in the new Hutch residence... unconfirmed reports are that he's hiding out in the basement, or possibly trying to creep on Hutch's lady.  She a smokeshow, I dont blame him.
