Yeah, about that title, sorry.

We faced a familiar foe once again as the Gators faced the Bulldogs in exciting Friday night action! ACTION! ACTIONNNNN!!!!!  Leading up to the game, upon the advice of Nebs, Lowrey decided to set lines for this game.  After careful perusal of available players, Lowrey consulted the corsi gods and came up with the following:

Mitch - Perry - Gills

Filewich - Overton - Michaels

Brady - Nebs - Culbertson

Fetting - Shaw

Landis - Hutch

Would it work?  well I'm writing this after the fact, so yes, yes it did.  You could feel the swagger in the dressing room, the energy that having a plan exudes.

The first period saw the Gators roll out all three lines with ease, and fire 13 shots on the Bulldog net.  None found the netting, but you could tell something was gonna go down tonight.

The seocnd started in a scoreless tie, but after a intermission splash of water, young Brady VanThuyne greased his wheels and flew up the wing to tally the first of the night.  Sustained Gator pressure lead to the second goal via the gritty play down low of Tremblay and McNamara at the 6min mark.  Scrads hot hand and slick tape job lead to the 3rd gator goal and his 19th of the season.  Nebs struck for the fourth goal to close out the period when he caught the Bulldog tendy admiring his devilishly handsome looks a little too much.

Third period saw the Bulldogs crank up some pressure as they fired 13 of their game total 29 shots this period.  The shutout jinx finally hit Lowrey at the 4min mark on a zippy shot to the high block side.  Nuts.

Game finished 4-1 for your Green and Gold

Lowrey stopped 28 for the W and #GatorOfTheGame
