So late monday saw the Gators deathroll into a division up and face the Cree Warriors.

No idea who those guys are, but these games are always sneaky good cause pretty much all the fellas from the nation can play some puck.

What didnt help was that we couldnt round up enough guys to ice at least 2 full lines.  Meh.  Why not make it interesting by getting 9 guys on the ice for a late one.

Moving along,

Game started off with a couple Gator bingos from Eric McFiguredouthownottogetinjuredRae scoring first, followed up shortly after by New Kev.  Hutchy shined up a couple apples as well in the process and aside from a late tally from the Warriors, not much else really happened as I gathered.  Shots were 15-13 Gators.  Spenny ruined nachos and went -1.

The boys hydrated between periods cause hydration is important kids, and the second period started.  This one saw a little more back-and-forthy with each team potting 3 goals.  New Kev completed his hatty in a battle of the bingos with Kachmarsi from the Warriors.  Buckley, a little jealous of Hutch, shined up a Granny Smith and a Golden Delicious of his own, and the period ended with the Gators leading 5-4 on a shot lead of 33-28.  Spenny went -3 on the period.

An increasingly tired Gator congregation (thats what you call a grouping of gators) hydrated, caught their breath and onward to the third !!!  The Cree Warriors tied up the night a couple minutes in, only to see Hutch get that Gator lead back about a shift later.  New Kevin got his 4th of the night on the next shift and the gators were feeling a little cozier.  A little too cozy as the warriors narrowed that gap to 1, but never got closer.  An assumed pressure of some kind near the end of the period yielded nothing and Hayes closed the door on the night with a 7-6 Gator win.

Spenny went -6 with 4PIM and new skates... less terrible than normal

Overton/Michaels combo accounted for no goals and no assists.  Basically they pulled a Lowrey/Besman special
