Literally, our game was a post 11pm start

Fair warning… I didn’t play, as did several other Gator regulars.  So, this Gator News is gonna suck. We had a solid lineup of guests though.

This is how I formulate a Gator News, usually.  Gonna take a page from theHustle and reword their quick synopsis of a typical SNL week (https://thehustle.co/whats-a-typical-week-for-a-writer-at-snl), into a typical GatorNews write-up:

Pre and Post-game – Sit in dressing room, having post game beer.  Getting equipment off I try to make notes on funny stuff in the dressing room.  Hockey Culture is way funnier than those who don’t play and henceforth have no clue can comprehend.  But go ahead saying its toxic if its your prerogative… cough, cough caaaarcillo

Next Day – (usually) writing day.  Usually during work during slow periods.  Sometimes it takes a while to figure out a theme.

(usually) Later that next day – write quick quips straight through.  Occasionally scoping out the game box scores for a certain amount of accuracy.

(usually) Later later that day – copy / paste onto the iplayhockey team website as you can’t leave the writing on it unattended for approx. 2min 05 seconds otherwise you lose any progress and cant reincarnate anything, and then you get angry.

(usually) Later later later that day.  Hit enter on the news, disregarding spelling / grammar, and send link to all teammates.  Find funny picture, tag teammates with the tweeter and #SendIt

Yes I know its Monday, and the game was Saturday night.  Thanks for pointing that out.

So we had a Saturday night tilly vs and old foe of the Bulldogs

As hard as they try, we still have their number, even when most of us aren’t there

Saying that, big thanks to the brothers Wideman (Connie and Everett), along with the big guy Brady Goebel.

How’d we do?  Why a score of 8-2

That rhymes, I sometimes do that

Sexy Connie sexied a goal and assist

Everett shined up 2 apples

Goebel racked up a gino and 2 primaries and a secondary.

The younger VanThuyne bingo’d 4 times with no assists… he’s really grasping what it is to be a Gator… so proud… I’m not crying… its dust.
