So the Saturday Pre-Christmas Gator game was an exercise in how to get coal for Christmas

Although the first seemed like a non-MightyButts kinda period on account of there wasnt a whole lotta basic chirping from the opposing squad.  A late period goal from the B's had the first colse with the Gators down 1-0 on a Gaotr-favoring shot total of 15-9.

Then the second happened.  Gators kept slingin rubber at the B's net, and in the process I'm guessing a B's player... namely #16, got a little tired and snuggled up to Filewich a bit too much, and bent him over the boards in an un-natural way, then got a double holding penalty.  Filewich didnt much favor that and after some words got a holding penalty as well as a balance of game ejection.  Okie dokie.  Stripes didnt like McRae analysis eithe and assigned him to shower buddy with Filewich as he got a balance of game ejection as well.  Uh-huh.  Seems... uhh.... fair.  Shortly thereafter a Mighty B hold turned into a Gator PP which 6 seconds later lead to a game tying Teske bingo.  Then 15 seconds later a shortie from the B's got them back up by 1.   Culby squared it back up on that same PP.  After the faceoff the B's number 11 said something Santa wouldnt approve of, and in the process of heading to the bench on an impending call Clay got tagged (goalie interference) by #25 and decided to let the guy know he didnt approve  (slashing).  After that mess the B's notched a go-ahead goal to end the period 3-2 B's.  Shots to this point were 30-17 Gators.  Basically the B's goalie was looking to steal a game here.

Functional word is 'was'.  Then the third happened.

It kinda took until about 5min in to get interesting with a Buckley lamp, then got heated again, and of course it was #25 for the B's.  He got a little to close to Clay, got tied up and fell down.  Clay gave a little tap for a slash penalty, Spenny took a unsportsman penalty,  #25 then crosschecked our D, then got a game misconduct tagged on as well.   We ended up on the penalty kill so may as well bingo right? 

New Kev did new kev things for the shorthanded go ahead goal. 

Then a few minutes later got a rough penalty

Then after that extended the Gator lead to 2.

The B's clawed one back but that was all she wrote in a Gator 5-4 win
