Less Than is Gator Than 2020-03-05

The "less than" sign and the "greater than" sign look like a "V" on its side, don't they?  To remember which way around the "<" and ">" signs go, just remember: BIG > small, and small < BIG.  The "small" end always points to the smaller number.  In the case of this game, the W pointed toward the other team.  Hashtag losing sucks.

“Tell us more” you ask.  “Fack, do I” I say under my breath.  Okay, here we go…

First period:

Brock opened the scoring after about 4 minutes of very fast end to end action.  Not even kidding… I watched this on normal speed on the RCHL gameonstream feed.  That made the score 1>0  Gators were Greater than the DLA Kings, if only for a moment.  Then I watched the DLA kings tally back 12 seconds later.  Fack.  Then 40 sec after that we were 1<2 (less than) after DLA converted on a 3on1.  Fackity.  DLA then extended their scoring for another couple tally’s until Brady binged before the end of the period to make the Gator score a “less than” 2 goal compared to the DLA “greater than score of 4.

Second period:

A lot of the same basically.  DLA basically capitalized on every quality chance, reeling off another 4 straight goals.  Neil ruined nachos halfway through.  McRae and Brock bookmarked the DLA goal streak with tallies to end the period with a score of 8>4.  DLA > Gators.

Third Period:

Highlight I suppose was DLA’s Lelievre potting his hat-trick goal.  Gators made it a bit me respectable on a pair of goals from Brady completing his Hattie, and one from PerBear to finish the game 9-7 DLA
