The October 3rd version of Gator cohort hockey saw the second matchup against the Ice Ninjas

It was a blowout, don’t really know how to sugar coat it.  Our first game against them was that 14-11 game that was just a hot mess.  We figured our stuff out.  They didn’t.  This one ended 10-2

So…..

Quick summary then I’ll list off some terrible ninja performances

First period was about as close as the game would get, the younger VanThuyne bingo’d at the 9minny mark with a prime to Connie and his sharp lookin new season haircut (haircut… I believe he got them all cut).  Newbie A-aron took an early body-checking pim to take possible nachos off the table, and the period ended with the gators up 9-6 on shots.

Then the second and third periods happened.

Brendan started the death roll courtesy of Lando and Trace.  Spenny added to the lead off Micheals and Brendan.  Ninjas finally got on the board 6 min in but it really wouldn’t have much effect.  The ‘lifer line’ struck back from a Culby goal via Michaels and Trace.  Then Buckley closed out the second with one of his own from Connie and… Spenny.  Hmmm, Spenny seemed to be having a game.

Third period saw an additional (stops to count on figures… 10-5=….. one hand) one hand worth of goals scored by the boys in green and gold.  Brady V, A-aron, Buckley, Jordo, and Scrads found net.  Brendan, Spenny, and Brady skated off with a couple apples, and Connie, Buckley and Scrads padded their season stats.

Other Gator News:

Double Dragon, Street Fighter, and 3 Ninjas were horrible horrible movies.  Just horrible

Really, horrible

Fack, so horrible that there was even a 3 ninja franchise (4 movies total)

Ninjas on ice, the title of this, should never be made into either A) a drink.  2) there is no B), or C) a figure skating show.  They'd all be horrible as well

Next Gator Game:  Uhhhh, fack, its tomorrow!!!  Sleepy time
