The #HockeyForHumboldt Tournament took place yesterday at the Bell Sensplex in Ottawa and was a fun way to continually support the victims of the tragedy in Humboldt.

The tournament was 4-on-4 format with teams and players simply out there to have fun and help out the families going through this difficult time.

By including a minimum entry fee that was used for donations and encouraging players to go above and beyond to fundraise, the tournament was able to raise over $15,000 for Humboldt.

These initiatives must continue because even though it’s impossible to replace what was lost, it eases the situation knowing the country stands with you and is there for support in any way we can.

We are all #HumboldtStrong.
