Pass. Rotate. One-Timer.

This quick-strike drill builds awareness, timing, and one-timer accuracy. Three players are involved. Start with a pass from the dot to the player in the center, who passes it right back. The first player then slides a pass through the center player’s legs to the far dot. The center player spins, tracks the pass, and […]

Walk the Line. Quick Release.

A must-have drill for defenders looking to move the puck to the net quickly and efficiently. Two players are all you need: one along the boards feeding passes, and a defender working the blue line. The defender receives the puck, fires a shot, then walks the line toward center for another release, and finally over […]

Two Puck

A fun, competitive game to close out practice. Start just inside the ringette line with two pucks. Shoot the first, then go on a breakaway with the second. Miss while someone else scores → you’re out. Only score once while someone else scores twice → you’re out. Keep going until one player is left standing.

Net Front Shot Elevation

Hand-eye, quick hands, and smart finishing all in one. One player positions in front of the crease facing the goalie. Their partner pushes a puck through their legs like a rebound. The shooter must locate the puck quickly with their peripherals and fire it fast. Keep it realistic — in a game you only get […]

Catch and Release

Quick release shooting is the goal here. Set up two players near the faceoff dots. The receiver should focus on shooting immediately after the pass — no stickhandling. Prioritize speed over power to surprise the goalie. To make it harder, send a pass into your partner’s skates to simulate a broken play.
