Contest iPlayHockey: Terms and Conditions
Official Rules:
1. Sponsor
This contest is administered by iPlayHockey referred to as the “Sponsor.”
2. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Québec, aged 13+ years old at time of entry.
Entrants under the age of majority in their province or territory of residence must have the consent of a parent or
legal guardian. Employees of the Sponsor, its affiliates, agencies and immediate family members are not eligible.
Entrants must also comply with TikTok or Instagram’s terms of use as applicable to the Entrant to be considered
eligible.
3. Contest Period
The contest begins on 23rd of April, 2026 and closes on May 15th, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
(“Contest Period”).
4. How to Enter
No purchase is necessary to enter. During the Contest Period, Entrants may enter by following all of the steps
listed below:
- Follow our official TikTok or Instagram account @iplayhockey.ca
- Like the official giveaway post on either TikTok or Instagram
- Comment which two teams will make the finals
- Comment who you think will be the winning team
- Limit of one (1) entry per person is allowed. Multiple, bulk, automated, or false entries are prohibited and
will be void.
5. Prizes
There are a total of one (1) pair of hockey skates available to be won in this Contest, each with an approximate
retail value of $1,200 CAD taxes included.
The winner will have the opportunity to select the brand and model of skates they wish to receive, up to the
maximum value stated above.
No cash alternatives. Prizes are non-transferable. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries
received. Prizes must be accepted as awarded; no cash or substitution will be offered except at the Sponsor’s
sole discretion. Prize delivery will not be unduly delayed.
6. Winner Selection
The Sponsor will conduct a random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The draw
will take place on or about 21th of June, 2026.
A selected entrant from the random draw will be contacted via direct message on the platform that was used to
enter on 28th of June, 2026 and must respond within 7 days from the date of contact. If a selected entrant cannot
be contacted, fails to respond in time, or is otherwise ineligible an alternate entrant will be selected at random.
Winners will be selected from among eligible participants who have correctly predicted both finalist teams and the
overall winner of the competition. Only entries that meet all stated requirements and accurately identify the two
teams advancing to the final, as well as the ultimate winner, will be considered for selection.
7. Skill-Testing Question
Before being declared a winner, a selected entrant must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question,
unaided, and within a limited time (E.g.2 + 4 × 3 – 5 = ?) to be declared a winner and claim their prize.
8. License & Publicity
By entering, you grant the Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and publish your
submission in connection with this contest, including promotional materials. You may opt out of promotional use
at the time of submission. Selected entrant (or their parent/legal guardian, if a minor) must sign a Declaration of
Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. Except where prohibited, winners consent to the publication of
their name, city/province and image for advertising/publicity by Sponsor, without further compensation.
9. Platform Disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, TikTok, Meta
or NHL. By entering, you completely release Instagram and TikTok from any liability arising in connection with this
promotion.
10. Privacy
Personal information collected will be used solely to administer this contest, verifying eligibility and awarding
prizes, all in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy available at https://iplayhockey.ca/privacy-policy/.
Where we describe what we collect, how long we retain it, where it is stored, and with whom it is shared.

limited to these purposes.
11. Limitation of Liability
Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures, submission errors or unauthorized third-party intervention.
Entrants release the Sponsor from all liability in connection with the contest. Sponsor may cancel, modify or
suspend the Contest if fraud or technical failures compromise its integrity, subject to applicable law.
12. Governing Law
This Contest is governed by the laws of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario, sitting in Ottawa.
13. Quebec
This Contest is not open to residents of the province of Québec and is therefore Void in Quebec. Entries
submitted by Québec residents will be deemed ineligible and will not be considered. Document comparison by
